So, back to Pokhara and our wondeful hotel, the Pavillions. We have a tour of the city (the second largest in Nepal) that included Devi's Falls, a waterfall in the middle of the city and named after a Swiss lady who fell to her death in the 60's. After that, we take a flight to Kathmandu from the local airport; a quite delightful place that put back time to the days of 1930's flying. We board our prop plane and off we go, holding our breath as we fly not very high above the countryside. We get back to the Hyatt and the great staff at the Club Lounge; they are very kind and attentive - they made us feel very special. The next day, we have a trip to the historic part of Kathmandu, called Bhaktapur - founded in the 12th century and a quite wonderful place to look at. Great buildings and very interesting squares. We saw where talented artists trained in the historic way of painting Nepalise pictures - absolutely incredible that it could take 20 years to master this art form.
Now off to Hong Kong!

Loving all your updates. Beautiful photos. You both look well chilled. What an adventure. Xxx
