Beautiful Blossoms of Kanazawa

We leave the very traditional town of Takayama, to head to Kanazawa, but we have a brief stop at a UNESCO village called Shirakawa-go where there were some amazing properties that arguably might have fitted into a Suffolk village. We then carried on by bus to Kanazawa and checked into our Tokyo Hotel. We did not realise, but the blossom was in full bloom. We went to the main park and it was blossom heaven. That evening we then strolled around the castle grounds and were treated to a wonderful light show and musical display; it was really therapeutic! This is a great place.
