Geisha glamour

Off to the 3 geisha districts by bus. They were all relatively close to each other, but all very different. The first one we saw was pretty ordinary and not very interesting. The 2nd was by the river and was very quaint, with blossom trees lining the water's edge. The 3rd was pretty much opposite the 2nd, across the ring road. This one was more touristy, but we did go round a house that was originally a tea room, where geisha entertained the customers by singing and dancing. We did not see any geisha, but certainly saw many girls dressed in traditional clothes, clearly enjoying the atmosphere and the weather; it was over 30 degrees today.

Now off to Hiroshima.
