How Squeaky is Your Beach?

After a night of thunder and a lot of rain and wind, we awoke to a lovely sunny morning. A bit fresh, but you could tell it was going to get a lot warmer (which it did). So, it was a 'need to clear out the fridge day', that meant using up food that had to be cooked today. How about a good old fry up? Which is what we had and it was really quite good, including having a naughty bit of fried bread. Of course, this was just the preparation for some walking and exploring this area. We had details of a couple of walks and we set off. As it turned out, it was a delightful 3 odd hours wandering over the cliffs that looked over the beautiful sea and empty sandy beaches. Where we are is the furthest south of mainland Australia and the scenery was stunning. Diane was so excited that she did cartwheels (and you might have seen the video). We came back to the Park and as it was so nice, pulled out our camping chairs and sat back enjoying the warm rays with a G&T and a beer in hand. Then, as the sun dropped, we had a home made (by Keith) sort of Italian cottage pie, a glass of red wine and finished off with a hand made chocolate that came from a shop in Melbourne. Tomorrow, off to Lakes Entrance. Oh, if you are wondering, the beach Diane did her cartwheel on was called Squeaky Beach; I'll say no more.
